The economy must be liberal, and the menace of State control must be resisted; the use of religion for political shenanigans must stop; draconian laws and powers must be abolished; the country must be returned to its people. An uncluttered, egalitarian, and rational Truth is needed. Nothing else will be stable, nothing else will work.
An evil spirit now hangs over Pakistan. The people are too tired, too disappointed … It is time to wake up. Let Pakistan be Pakistan again. Let it be the dream it used to be — a dream that is almost dead today.
To get out of the chaos, Pakistan must review its initial conditions. Ultimately, Pakistan is not a country short on zeal and resources, but a country short on ideas.
